Former Blue Origin Senior VP Stephen Bennett Joins Kepler Communications as COO

TORONTO, September 14, 2021 (Kepler Communications PR) — Space company Kepler Communications announced today that Stephen (Steve) Bennett will be joining the Kepler Team as Chief Operating Officer effective September 20th, to contribute his expertise to accelerating Kepler’s next phase of growth.

This key executive hire follows closely behind Kepler’s successful Series B round, announced in June 2021. At that time, Kepler announced that the funding would advance the company mission of delivering connectivity to other satellites and on-orbit assets, specifically identifying the start of Kepler’s GEN2 satellite program. The formation of a second international subsidiary, Kepler Communications US Inc, was also highlighted.

Kepler Communications Raises Oversubscribed $60M Series B for Satellite Communications Network

TORONTO, ONTARIO, June 9th, 2021 (Kepler Communications PR) — Space company Kepler Communications has raised an oversubscribed US$60M Series B to provide it with a capital injection for the continued scaling of its on-orbit satellite communications network.

This Series B fundraising round, was led by Tribe Capital, and includes participation from a host of new investors including Canaan Partners. Existing investors including IA Ventures, and Costanoa Ventures also participated signaling their strong conviction in the company’s progress and market opportunity. This brings the total funding raised to date by Kepler to over USD$90M.

Kepler Communications Announces Successful Launch of 8 New GEN1 Satellites

TORONTO, January 24th, 2021 (Kepler Communications PR) – Kepler Communications welcomed eight new satellites into their constellation today, further expanding the active constellation to 13 satellites in total. These eight satellites, KEPLER-8 through KEPLER-15, were successfully launched via SpaceX’s first dedicated SmallSat Rideshare Program mission at approximately 10:00 AM EDT this morning. Once fully operational within the constellation these will significantly increase the capacity of Kepler’s Global Data Services offering.
