Swiss Space Systems Expands Into Croatia

Swiss_Space_Systems_logoZAGREB, Croatia, February 16, 2015 (S3 PR) — The aerospace company, Swiss Space Systems (S3), officially inaugurated its daughter company, Swiss Space Systems Croatia, in the presence of the Ambassador of Switzerland in Croatia, as well as representatives of the national and local authorities and international guests from the aerospace sector.

The company is located in Zagreb and Sladjan Zovko is its General Director. For the S3 Group, this inauguration represents a new important step in its expansion in Europe, as Croatia will play an important role in different parts of the S3 program.

NORTH BAY, Ont., June 26, 2014 (S3 PR) —Swiss Space Systems Holding SA (S3) announced today in the presence of local authorities and dignitaries its partnership with the City of North Bay and Canadore College.

This partnership will enable S3 to initiate several technical activities from this Canadian region, a highly interesting zone, because of its geographic situation and its large available test flight corridors.

Georgetown (Washington DC), October 17, 2013 (S3 PR) — The aerospace company, Swiss Space Systems (S3), announces today the establishment of a US subsidiary, S3 USA. Located in Georgetown (Washington, DC), the company will be run by Robert Feierbach. This constitutes another important milestone in the extension of the activities of S3 in the US, one week after the announcement of its partnership with Spaceport Colorado. Negotiations on further important partnerships in the country are currently at an advanced stage.

Madrid, 26 June 2013 (S3/Elecnor Deimos PR) — Swiss Space Systems – S3, the new Swiss aerospace company, was officially launched on 13 March this year. Its goal is to develop, manufacture, certify and operate unmanned suborbital shuttles to launch small satellites up to 250 kg by 2018.

Today the firm is announcing the signature of a broad scope memorandum of understanding as further step in the cooperation with Elecnor Deimos established earlier this year. This partnership will allow S3 to count on DEIMOS as key technology supplier and strategic partner, leveraging on its experience in space programmes for the development of a new generation small satellites launch system, and then enter the next stage of developing a manned version of its suborbital shuttle.

Le Bourget, 17 June 2013. Swiss Space Systems – S3, the fledgling Swiss aerospace company, was officially launched on 13 March this year. Its goal is to develop, manufacture, certify and operate unmanned suborbital shuttles to launch small satellites up to 250 kg by 2018.

With the development phase well under way, the firm is announcing today a new partnership – with Thales Alenia Space, a leading developer and manufacturer of pressurised modules, notably for the international space station. These partnerships will enable S3 to move ahead with the plan to launch small satellites and enter the next stage of developing a manned version of its suborbital shuttle. The latter will enable the company to offer a very high speed mode of passenger transportation.
