Accion Systems Raises $11 Million Series B Round

BOSTON, Feb. 4, 2020  (Accion Systems PR) — In-space propulsion system pioneer Accion Systems today announced that it is raising $11 million in Series B funding. The round is being co-led by Boeing HorizonX Ventures and Shasta Ventures.

The Series B round brings Accion’s total funding to date to $36 million, which includes $14 million in U.S. Dept. of Defense and NASA contracts. The new capital will be used to ramp up production of Accion’s next-generation product and to expand hiring.

Vector Raises $70 Million Series Be Funding Round

TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 19, 2018 (Vector PR) — Vector, a leading microsatellite launch company comprised of New Space and enterprise software industry veterans from SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, Sea Launch and VMware, today announced that it has secured $70M in a Series B funding round led by Kodem Growth Partners, in conjunction with Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners.

Accion Systems Receives $7.5 Million in Series A Funding

Accion Systems has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding to expand its development and production of innovative propulsion systems for small satellites. The Series A round was led by Shasta Ventures with partners Founder Collective, RRE Ventures and Slow Ventures, according to CrunchBase.
