MUNICH (Isar Aerospace PR) – Isar Aerospace announced today that it has entered into a firm launch services agreement with space infrastructure pioneer D-Orbit. The company’s launch vehicle Spectrum, which is developed for small and medium satellites and satellite constellations, will launch D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier as a primary customer to a Sun-synchronous orbit from its launch site in Andøya, Norway with a launch term starting in 2023.

D-Orbit Secures Additional Launch Ports with SpaceX for 2023 Rideshare Missions

Agreement includes 11 ports aboard Falcon 9 for missions in 2023

FINO MORNASCO, Italy, May 31, 2022 (D-Orbit PR) — D-Orbit, the space logistics and orbital transportation company that is going public through a transaction with Breeze Holdings Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: BREZ), announced today that it has secured 11 ports for D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier (“ION”) for launch on SpaceX Rideshare missions in 2023.

Securing these slots is in line with D-Orbit’s plans to launch 13 IONs in 2023, as the Company works to meet the increasing demand for last-mile space transportation solutions and in-orbit demonstration of third-party payloads. The launches have been purchased through the Italian launch broker impulso.space.

D-Orbit Enters Agreement with Beyond Gravity for the Supply of Space Rider Structural Components

MORNASCO, Italy (D-Orbit PR) — D-Orbit, the space logistics and orbital transportation company, today announced the signing of a subcontract with space company Beyond Gravity, under which D-Orbit will deliver lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) tools and metallic structural components for the European Space Agency’s Space Rider reusable space vehicle. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

D-Orbit was selected for its experience and established know-how in space projects. It will supply the CFRP tooling and metallic structural flight hardware components. D-Orbit will also coordinate and monitor the work of Italian suppliers, to ensure that the production and documentation follows the space industry’s best practices.

D-Orbit Announces April Launch of SPACELUST, its Fifth ION Satellite Carrier Mission

FINO MORNASCO, Italy, March 21 (D-Orbit PR) — D-Orbit, the space logistics and orbital transportation company, announced today the upcoming launch of SPACELUST, the fifth mission using the Company’s proprietary ION Satellite Carrier (ION), a flexible and cost-effective orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) spacecraft designed both to precisely deploy satellites and perform technology demonstrations of third-party payloads in orbit.

ION will lift off from the Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Florida, aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 Transporter-4 mission. The launch is scheduled for April 2022.

Kleos Patrol Mission Re-manifested to Fly on D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier for Next Orbital Transportation Mission

The space logistics and orbital transportation company signed a contract with US launch provider Spaceflight Inc. to deliver the Kleos Patrol Mission (KSF2) satellites into orbit aboard the next ION Satellite Carrier mission, scheduled for April 2022.

(ASX:KSS, Frankfurt:KS1, Kleos), a space-powered Radio Frequency Reconnaissance data-as-a-service (DaaS) company, to be launched and deployed on the next mission of D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier, on the SpaceX Transporter-4 mission. The mission will feature D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier, the Company’s flexible and cost-effective satellite platform able to precisely deploy satellites in orbit and facilitate the testing of new technologies in space.

FINO MORNASCO, Italy (D-Orbit PR) — D-Orbit, the space logistics and transportation company, announced that it has successfully completed the deployment phase of its WILD RIDE mission. As part of this phase, D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier (ION), the company’s proprietary space transportation vehicle, successfully deployed all six satellites hosted onboard and will now proceed with the in-orbit demonstration of 12 hosted payloads.

D-Orbit Signs Launch Contract with Aistech Space

The space transportation and logistics company will launch and deploy in orbit Aistech’s 6U CubeSat aboard its ION Satellite Carrier.

FINO MORNASCO, Italy (D-Orbit PR) — Space transportation and logistics company D-Orbit announced today the signing of a contract with Aistech Space, a global space technology company, for the launch and deployment of a 6U CubeSat aboard ION Satellite Carrier (ION), D-Orbit’s orbital transportation vehicle.

The nanosatellite, named Guardian, carries a multispectral telescope designed by Aistech Space, with a variety of sensors from the visible (RGB), near infrared (NIR), and thermal infrared (TIR) spectrum.

D-Orbit and Marubeni Corp Announce Commercial Partnership

The aerospace division of the Japanese trading company will promote and sell D-Orbit’s products and services in Japan and other geographic areas strategic for the space logistics company’s market expansion.

FINO MORNASCO, Italy — D-Orbit S.p.A, a space logistics company headquartered in Italy, and Marubeni, a Japanese diversified trading conglomerate, signed a commercial partnership that will enable D-Orbit to expand its sales network worldwide.

According to the agreement, Marubeni will promote and sell the entire catalog of D-Orbit’s solutions in Japan and other strategic markets where the space company aims to broaden its reach.

D-Orbit Announces Successful Origin Satellite Deployment Mission

The satellite carrier completes deployment of all 12 SuperDove satellites

FINO MORNASCO, Italy D-Orbit PR) — D-Orbit, the in-orbit transportation company, announced the successful completion of the deployment phase of Origin mission, the first of ION Satellite Carrier. ION, D-Orbit’s satellite platform, successfully released 12 SuperDove satellites for Earth-imaging company Planet, in the precise orbital slots requested by the client.

The vehicle has been operational since September 3rd, when it was successfully released from an Arianespace Vega launcher. On September 25th, it released successfully the first SuperDove satellite of the batch, and the last satellite was deployed on October 28th, at 10:38:46 UTC.
