Along with the MOU, Rogue has also received OAC’s initial payment for the services covered under the agreement, a major milestone for the industry. Rogue is the first US-based space startup to secure a paying commercial customer for this type of orbital services. This also accelerates OAC’s efforts to deliver critical service resources for upcoming missions. Part of a strategic collaboration to meet the growing demand for reliable in-space transport and access to  geostationary orbit (GEO), Rogue Space has contracted  Firefly as their first launch vehicle supplier  targeting an initial launch in Q3 2023.

LACONIA, NH, May 19, 2021 (Rogue Space Systems PR) — Rogue Space Systems Corporation and Dawn Aerospace have signed a cooperation agreement where Rogue has selected Dawn Aerospace as their partner for spacecraft propulsion systems. The first project in their partnership is a 6-axis Reaction Control System (RCS) for their Laura, Charlie, Fred and Bob Orbot™ spacecraft programs. The resulting spacecraft(s) will include demonstration programs and missions as well as the deployment of Rogue’s Orbots™ destined to reside in LEO, MEO, GEO and Cislunar.
