A Singaporean space tech start-up will launch NuX-1 tech demo satellite in January 2022 to bring IoT connectivity to remote places

Singapore/Berlin, Germany, January 12, 2022 (NuSpace/Exolaunch PR) – NuSpace Pte. Ltd., a leading Singaporean space tech startup with a focus on IoT connectivity and data platform services and Exolaunch, a global provider of small satellite launch, in-space logistics, and deployment services announced a launch agreement for NuX-1 aboard the SpaceX Transporter-3 mission. NuSpace’s NuX-1 IoT satellite has just been integrated with the launch vehicle by Exolaunch and will be launched to a sun-synchronous orbit above 500 km aboard Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral not earlier than January 2022 as part of SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program.

Germany’s Exolaunch Expands Business Operations in North America

Plans to send +100 smallsats into space in 2022, capture larger share of US market by opening offices in Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, and hires Chris Hearsey as US CEO

EnduroSat and Exolaunch Announce Launch Agreements for SpaceX Falcon 9 Rideshare Missions

Japanese Satellite Company Synspective Signs Launch Agreement with Germany’s Exolaunch to Launch the third SAR Satellite StriX-1 on Soyuz-2

TOKYO and BERLIN (Exolaunch PR) – Synspective Inc., a SAR satellite data and analytic solution provider, announced a new Launch Agreement with a small satellite launch services provider, Exolaunch, to launch Synspective’s third demonstration SAR satellite “StriX-1” on a Soyuz-2 launch vehicle in mid-2022. The companies extended their collaboration after signing a launch agreement for the second Synspective’s demonstration SAR satellite “StriX-beta”, which is currently under the final preparations for launch later this year.

Synspective Signs Launch Agreement with Germany’s Exolaunch to Launch the Second SAR Satellite “StriX-β” on Soyuz-2

TOKYO, Japan and BERLIN, Germany, March 23, 2021 (Synspective PR)  — Synspective Inc., a SAR satellite data and analytic solution provider, announced a Launch Agreement with the German launch services provider, Exolaunch, to launch the second demonstration satellite “StriX-β” on a Soyuz-2  launch vehicle from Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia in late 2021.    

StriX-β is the second demonstration satellite following Strix-α. It is aimed to demonstrate “InSAR (Interferometric SAR)” technology in orbit, a special SAR analytics technique to detect millimeter-level displacements on the ground surface.

Exolaunch Delivers 30 Small Satellites into Orbit on SpaceX’s First Dedicated Rideshare Launch

BERLIN (Exolaunch PR) — Exolaunch, the leading rideshare launch and deployment services provider for the NewSpace industry, announced a successful launch of 30 commercial, space agency, and university satellites for its customers from Europe and the U.S. on the first dedicated rideshare mission of SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program. The mission, named “Zeitgeist,” lifted off on January 24 at 15:00 UTC on Falcon 9 “Transporter-1,” completing one of the largest and most diverse rideshare missions for Exolaunch.

Zeitgeist kicked-off the first of several rideshares Exolaunch will manifest on Falcon 9 as part of a multi-launch agreement with SpaceX. On this mission, Exolaunch provided deployment, mission management and integration services to the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Dresden Technical University, ICEYE, NanoAvionics and other commercial companies for IoT, Earth observation and scientific applications.

SpaceX Launches Record 143 Satellites

SpaceX set a new world record on Sunday by launching 143 satellites into Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

The Sunday morning polar orbit launch included 133 commercial and government spacecraft along with 10 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband communications constellation. The launch was conducted from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
