GURUGRAM, India (Blue Sky Analytics PR) — Geospatial Data Intelligence startup, Blue Sky Analytics (BSA) has announced the closing of a $1.2 million seed round, led by BEENEXT Emerging Asia Pte. Ltd. Zerodha-backed Rainmatter Capital Private Limited and Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs also joined the round.

Blue Sky is building AI-powered infrastructure to analyze every pixel on the planet to retrieve the pertaining insights on air quality, water pollution, heat index, flood risk, and more. Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Satellogic’s $38M Dedicated Satellite Constellation (DSC) agreement with ABDAS to deliver access to a dedicated fleet of satellites providing them with high-resolution geospatial insights that will contribute to the monitoring of agriculture over the Henan Province in China and strengthen governmental decisions.

BUENOS AIRES, September 9, 2019 (Satellogic PR) –Satellogic, the world’s first vertically integrated geospatial analytics company, today announced that they have partnered with ABDAS, based in Henan Province, China, to deliver exclusive access to a dedicated constellation of satellites. The total amount of the agreement is more than 38 million USD.

As a result of this agreement, ABDAS will have access to a fleet of satellites, which provides them with multispectral imagery from monthly remapping of sites they define within Henan Province. Future satellites launched by Satellogic may be added to the constellation, and today’s agreement includes dedicated launches – coordinated by Satellogic – for fleet deployment and expansion. (iSi) to explore opportunities to use Kleos’ maritime RF activity-based satellite data to enhance geospatial intelligence analytics.

Under the MoU, the companies will develop a value-add proposition for current and future iSi maritime customers using Kleos’ geolocation data. The MoU also covers the development of a methodology to reduce collection to dissemination latency.
