For the First Time NanoAvionics has Sold One of its Orbital Satellites

Purchased nanosatellite provides data on climate change, hidden resources, agricultural improvement and other valuable processes on Earth

COLUMBIA, Ill., June 23, 2022 (NanoAvionics PR) – Mission integrator and smallsat bus manufacturer NanoAvionics has sold, for the first time, one of its operational satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) including ongoing mission operations. Launched last year, NanoAvionics’s shared 6U satellite mission “D2 / Atlacom-1” includes one of the world’s first 1U-sized hyperspectral imager for remote sensing, which will be used by a yet unnamed Earth observation company to provide orbital imagery services. Prior to selling the satellite, all indented missions, none of which included the buyer, had been accomplished and fulfilled.

Spire and Dragonfly Aerospace Announce Partnership to Support Australian Office of National Intelligence

Spire’s LEMUR satellite will explore the on-board application of advanced machine learning capabilities

VIENNA, Va. NanoAvionics Adds Two Nanosatellites to SpaceX Transporter-2 Mission

Dragonfly Aerospace Launches Award Program

Dragonfly to Deliver an Imager for Loft Orbital

STELLENBOSCH, South Africa, March 30, 2021 (Dragonfly Aerospace PR) — Dragonfly Aerospace is pleased to announce that it has delivered a customised Gecko electro-optical imager to Loft Orbital to fly on its YAM-3 satellite, due to launch in Q2 2021. The Gecko camera is an easy-to-integrate imaging solution with a compact design and includes large built-in mass storage. This imager will be mounted to the exterior of the satellite and will be used to support tip-and-cue missions and demonstrations for customers.

Dragonfly and Pixxel Sign Agreement for High Resolution Imagers for Pixxel’s Satellite Constellation

International Consortium Adds Hyperspectral Imaging, Communication Payloads to NanoAvionics’ D-2/AtlaCom-1 Rideshare Mission

COLUMBIA, Ill. (NanoAvionics PR) — NanoAvionics, a leading nanosatellite bus manufacturer and mission integrator, has revealed the remaining three payloads of its ‘D-2/AtlaCom-1’ rideshare mission hosted on board its M6P 6U nanosatellite bus. The additional payloads, a camera for hyperspectral remote sensing, a new high-gain X-band antenna and an upgraded X-Band downlink transmitter, are all part of an international collaboration by an international consortium and its partners called “HyperActive”.

The consortium partners for this international collaboration comprise Dragonfly Aerospace (South Africa), Space JLTZ (Mexico) and NanoAvionics US as a supplier to the consortium, as well as mission contributors Polytechnical University of Atlacomulco (Mexico), and CubeCom (South Africa).
