HOUSTON (NASA PR) — A Roscosmos resupply ship is in orbit today chasing the International Space Station for a Thursday night docking. Meanwhile, the seven Expedition 68 crew members scanned their veins, studied plasma physics, reviewed U.S. cargo mission procedures, and practiced controlling a new robotic arm on Wednesday.

Quantum Space Announces Plans for First Mission

First operational mission to cislunar space slated for 2024

ROCKVILLE, Md. (Quantum Space PR) – Quantum Space (Quantum) today announced their first operational mission to cislunar space will launch in October 2024 and will include partners GEOST, LLC and Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT). Known as QS-1, the mission will be the first step in establishing a superhighway between the Earth and the Moon by deploying commercial capabilities that enable spacecraft to operate in and travel through cislunar space and beyond more effectively and efficiently.

NOAA Selects MyRadar for Development of Technologies for Wildfire Resilience

Polaris Dawn Selects 38 Science and Research Experiments to Advance Human Health and Space Exploration

Cygnus NG-18 Mission to Include Research on Mudslides and Heart Cells, New Bioprinter and More

WALLOPS FLIGHT FACILITY, Va., October 24, 2022 (CASIS PR) – Mudslides from forest fires cause catastrophic damage in their wake, and research aimed at predicting and possibly preventing them will launch to the International Space Station (ISS) onboard Northrop Grumman’s 18th Commercial Resupply Services mission (NG-18). This is one of more than 20 investigations sponsored by the ISS National Laboratory flying on this mission. Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus spacecraft, named after former NASA astronaut Sally Ride for this mission, will also carry a next-generation 3D bioprinter that aims to print human tissues in space and seven projects funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
