OneWeb to Provide Broadband to Canada, Kazakhstan

Ontario-based Galaxy Broadband signed an US $50 million deal to provide OneWeb’s broadband services across Canada, including the northern territory of Nunavut.

Companies have raised funding for a reusable spacecraft, a space tug, satellites-as-a-service, hyperspectral imaging spacecraft, and to help keep the lights on.

New Spaceflight Inc. CEO

Spaceflight Inc. has announced that former International Launch Services (ILS) President Tiphaine Louradour will succeed Curt Blake as CEO of the company, which arranges rideshare launches and in-orbit transportation for small satellite operators.

The Biden Administration has announced that the United States and India will expand cooperation in space to include the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program under which NASA pays companies to deliver payloads to the moon. An Indian astronaut will also undergo spaceflight training at the space agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Virgin Orbit (NAS: VORB) has received an additional $10 million from Virgin Investments Limited (VIL), raising to $55 million the amount the investment group has pumped into the struggling launch provider over the past three months.
