(more…)Space-based data and analytics company Spire Global has reported higher revenues for the fourth quarter and full year 2022, but the company’s net loss also increased from 2021. Spire Global specializes in the tracking of various global data sets via the use of nanosatellites. The current Spire orbital fleet numbers in excess of 110 cubesats. These spacecraft are built in-house at Spire facilities.
(more…)Rocket Lab’s (NAS: RKLB) revenues soared more than 200% last year as the company launched the Electron rocket a record nine times and expanded its space systems business. Rocket Lab also recorded a higher loss as the company dealt with the high cost of obtaining the revenue and invested in the development of the much larger Neutron launcher.

(more…)Virgin Galactic CEO Michael Colglazier had reason to be upbeat during the company’s earnings call last week. The company’s mothership, VMS Eve, had flown back to Spaceport America the day before following a 16-month overhaul at the Mojave Air and Space Port at Rutan Field in California.
