they will sort this out
You know, now that this is a public traded firm posting analysis like this may not be a good idea.
How so?
Because it may impact the price of the stock if an investors sees it. And if they own stock, or a friend does, the SEC may claim they are trying to influence the price especially as they talk about the possible impact on future launches. The SEC is picky that way at times. At very least he should make a disclaimer to that effect.
Let the SEC rant all they want. I’m pretty sure Manley is not a US citizen.
Wikipedia says he is.
Thanks.
If he is in the US, then he is subject to US laws.
Including the 1st Amendment.
Freedom of the press, baby. And not that it matters, but trading in the stock was already halted for the day because the stock price, like the upper stage, was tumbling out of conttrol. In fact, prior to the launch, an investor class action lawsuit was filed alleging that Astra CEO Chris Kemp, CFO Kelyn Brannon, and former CFO Steven Ednie made false and misleading statements to investors. A Scott Manley video is the least of the SEC’s problems. “Let’s no one talk about the live streamed rocket failure” is not a defensible stance.
Ah Thomas what are you even talking about here? Public companies can’t have critical media coverage and analysis? Adjust meds pronto
