Yes, SpaceX is building a real rocket instead of just issuing press releases like NASA constantly does on the future Supersize Lawn Statue (SLS).
I was up working in my lab at 1AM EST and had the live feed up the TV for background viewing. There was some dude welding the forward body at that time…NASA takes notes, that’s how you get $h!t done!
How many inspectors were there with clipboards watching him?

No there isn’t. This just doesn’t happen to be one.
This is a prototype, not a model. It’s full scale, functional, and intended for doing flight testing instead of just for display/PR.
