Me too, rather to my surprise. It’s been exactly 20 years today since the first piece of ISS was launched. It’s been at least that long since SNL has averaged being funny enough per episode to be worth watching regularly. But it seems the old warhorse is still capable of a bit of a canter now and again even if its galloping days are firmly behind it. The writers have a hopeless job being stuck, as they are, with the current charmless and talent-free regular cast. At least they came up with a premise tailor-made for that creepy-smarmy-nebbishy thing that seems to constitute Steve Carrell’s entire bag of tricks. Props to the props crew as well.

I thought it was funny, but most of the comments I’ve seen on another “space watch” website were negative. Whatever. I enjoyed the premise.

I thought it was pretty funny. I liked the line about Svetlana “crumbling like a saltine.”

That was truly hilarious, and SNL impressed me here! They didn’t take even one jab, not even a teeny innuendo, at it all being the bad orange man’s fault!
