Report: Falcon 9 Launch Set for Sunday

Florida Today‘s James Dean reports that SpaceX’s launch of the AsiaSat 6 satellite has been delayed from Saturday to Sunday morning. The launch window runs from 12:50 a.m. to 4:04 a.m.

Dean cites the U.S. Air Force’s latest weather forecast. Neither SpaceX nor AsiaSat have confirmed the new launch date.

SpaceX cancelled an earlier launch attempt in order to make additional checks on the Falcon 9 rocket. That decision followed the failure of a reusable Falcon 9 test vehicle in McGregor, Texas.
