Maybe congress is finally ready to listen…

There are things happening in a number of states now, with more trying to get involved (Georgia, for one, vying for SpaceX’s private spaceport).

    Let’s see:

California – SpaceX headquarters and Vandenberg launch site, Mojave Airport for flight testing for everyone and base for Scaled Composites, The Spaceship Company, XCOR, Virgin Galactic

Texas – SpaceX testing and probable site of new SpaceX private spaceport, XCOR’s new headquarters, Blue Origin’s facility

Florida – Cape Canaveral Air Force station, Kennedy Space Center (launch sites for SpaceX, and probably Boeing and/or Sierra Nevada commercial crew) and possibly Blue Origin and possible landing site for Sierra Nevada, maybe others on the old shuttle landing strip, possible site for SpaceX’s private spaceport

Georgia – possible site for SpaceX’s private spaceport

Colorado – Sierra Nevada headquarters, Golden Spike, possible “Spaceport Colorado”

Virginia – Orbital headquarters and launch site, MARS spaceport

New Mexico – Spaceport America, Virgin Galactic operations base, SpaceX Grasshopper II’s future testing site, UP Aerospace

Washington State – Jeff Bezo’s home state (owner of Blue Origin), Planetary Resources

      Nevada – Bigelow Aerospace headquarters

Alabama – Stratolaunch headquarters (which also has a big facility in California)

Maybe CONgress if finally ready to listen…

      Nope.
They only listen to who lines their pockets.
As much as I disdain the GOP, the truth is, that the dems appear to be just as corrupt. And with those 2 parties blocking 3rd parties, well……

I’m not familiar with Kevin McCarthy or why he is anything resembling an expert witness to testify at this sub-committee meeting. His Wikipedia article only mentions he has a degree in marketing and owned a deli that he was able to purchase after winning a lottery drawing in California. I’m not completely familiar with California geography, but does his district cover the Mojave airport?
