This is one seriously crazy ass message from sort sort of deeply dystopian society. If this is actually a serious message, then the Russian space program is doomed. You can’t go around threatening your engineers and scientists like this and expect them to do good work.

    There’s nothing serious about this.

This is actually a serious message, but don’t worry. It’s not like the Russian space program is doomed. Now, since Roscosmos shut down 15 programs focused on interplanetary exploration in fearing of a repeat of the Phobos-Grunt disaster, we, Anonymous have decided to act against the Russian Space Research Institute and its online servers, threatening the scientists involved in the failed Phobos-Grunt mission with jail, treason charges.

I do think that it may be imbedded somewhere in this video, that the only ones here who should be jailed are the Russian scientists and researchers at IKI demanding a sample return mission from Phobos for a ridiculous 160 million and a half of it for a repeat mission. This is why Anonymous directed this message at the Institute in a first place. Given that the Russian President threatened the scientists with criminal charges, they always “apologize”. They threatened them with treason charges, but they didn’t.
