Boeing-USAF X-37B Team to Receive 2019 Collier Trophy

WASHINGTON, DC, August 13, 2020 (NAA PR) – The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) is pleased to announce that the United States Department of the Air Force – Boeing X-37B team has been named as the recipient of the 2019 Robert J. Collier Trophy for “… developing and employing the world’s only reusable, autonomous spaceplane, which logged more than 2,865 days in orbit across five missions, changing access to space and serving as the nation’s workhorse in space experimentation and technology.”

Boeing Replaces President of Defense, Space & Security

Boeing LogoCHICAGO, Feb. 24, 2016 (Boeing PR) — The Boeing board of directors has elected Leanne Caret president and chief executive officer of the company’s Defense, Space & Security business effective March 1. She will succeed Chris Chadwick, who has announced his retirement from the company.

Caret, 49, a 28-year company veteran, currently leads that unit’s Global Services & Support business, which has approximately 13,000 employees in 295 locations around the world. With $9 billion in revenues, it is the U.S. Department of Defense’s largest performance-based logistics contractor and an industry leader in providing sustainment services for a diverse range of military products and systems.
