LUXEMBOURG and HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., 19 September 2018 (Rocket Lab/Kleos Space PR) — US orbital launch provider Rocket Lab has signed a contract with Luxembourg-based satellite technology company Kleos Space to launch the scouting mission satellites that will geolocate maritime radio to guard borders, protect assets and save lives.
Kleos Space will start trading on the ASX today, Friday 24 August 2018 at 11 am Sydney time (3:00 am CET), after a successful 6.96 Mio EUR (11 Mio AUD) capital raising

LUXEMBOURG/SYDNEY, 24 August 2018 (Kleos Space PR) — Luxembourg-based company, Kleos Space S.A., has successfully closed 6.96 Mio EUR (11 Mio AUD) in funding and will begin trading on the Australian Stock Exchange today, Friday 24 August 2018 at 11 am Sydney time (3:00 am CET).
LUXEMBOURG, 5 March 2018 (Kleos Space PR) — Luxembourg-based Kleos Space, state-of-the-art space technology operator which will launch and operate its earth observation satellite constellation in early 2019, signed an Authorisation To Proceed (ATP) with GomSpace A/S, part of GomSpace Group AB on a contract to deliver the 1st of a total of a 20 system constellation. By signing the ATP, Kleos Space authorizes GomSpace to launch the initial part of the project. The delivery of the satellite and the launch are scheduled in Q1 2019.
The first satellite system, being called ‘Scouting’ mission, is valued at over €2.2 million [$2.7 million]. It is planned that the satellite operations for the mission will be carried in Luxembourg.
LUXEMBOURG, July 24, 2017 (Luxembourg Government PR) – The Luxembourg Government and Luxembourg-based Kleos Space S.à r.l. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) providing the framework for their cooperation within the SpaceResources.lu initiative with focus on space technology development. The newly created Kleos Space company is 100% owned by UK-based Magna Parva Limited.
Kleos Space is active in geolocation services and develops a space infrastructure for geo-intelligence and signal intelligence applications with in-space manufacturing. Within the framework of this MoU, the developments and research to take place in Luxembourg are related to the project for in-space manufacturing of composite beams equipped with antennas. Kleos Space will collaborate with EmTroniX, a Luxembourg-based company specialized in electronics development, as well as with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) on this subject. The Government will support the development of the in-space manufacturing technology by providing funding through the Luxembourg space program (LuxIMPULSE).
